This elegant Edwardian Hotel in Newtonmore is located at the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the magnificent setting for the popular BBC series, 'Monarch of the Glen' which was filmed only a few miles away.

Quite apart from the breathtaking scenery, lovers of outdoor pursuits are spoiled for choice the Monadhliath & Cairngorm Mountain Ranges lie nearby golfers can enjoy the diverse challenges at Newtonmore, Kingussie, Grantown-on-Spey & Boat of Garten and opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and other activities are just too numerous to mention.

The Hotel has a fantastic reputation for high quality accommodation and exceptional food and dining options.

Please note that we currently have to close the public areas of the hotel on a Sunday due to staffing shortages. Breakfast on the Sunday morning is unaffected. Accommodation is still available through this website on a 'room only' basis on a Sunday night at a reduced rate. Meals & bar facilities are available locally. Please call for more details.

Really enjoyable stay, excellent customer service
The king room we stayed in for 2 nights is spacious and was really comfortable. Hosts are friendly and the service was excellent. Will be back to stay again!

Spent a most enjoyable 2 nights. The reception on arrival was warm and welcoming. Lovely room, with everything one would hope for. Always book The Glen Hotel when we come to Newtonmore. A warm welcome from the team, rooms always clean and comfortable, loads of fluffy towels,fab breakfast and as it's the pub,dinner is always a winner, using locally sourced produce

Great Hotel in a lovely small town, just off the A9 in a strategic position whilst travelling in Scotland.
